I usually don't consider this one my true debut, but I gotta give it its flowers. This is one of the beginnings of my music journey. It didn't do a lot for me, but it was a starting point towards my currently style of production.

This started on September 11th, 2023 as a personal project for my school & would start production in October. This whole thing was due in February but I ended up having to rush it out due to being hacked on January 10th, 2024. What was supposed to be a mixtape with vocals later turned into an instrumental EP.

  • 5:40 is NOT named after 530 by Ye, it's the hour I wake up every morning.
  • untitled04, originally titled IWILLNAMETHISLATER, is named like that in correspondence to its spot on the original tracklist.
  • untitled07, originally titled Midsummer Night Dreams, is named like that in correspondence to its spot on the original tracklist.
  • No Hablo was made for my Spanish teacher at the time, she loved lo-fi music & asked me specifically to make some for her. I don't know where she is in life, but hopefully she knows I fulfilled that request (or not, this song actually kinda sucks now).

On March 4th, 2025, a version of this EP was rebuilt using the original four tracks and some throwaways and demos mixed in. This means that this project does not encapsulate the original vision I had for the album.

The original vision was having every track except for the intro & outro be each class I had for the day. It's been so long so I don't entirely remember my Sophomore schedule, but I do know Midsummer Night Dreams corresponds to English & No Hablo was Spanish.

  • FML was originally made for Fresh Loser but later found a home on STAYBLESSED!. It was also track 3 on an earlier tracklist.
  • Awaken was made for this project but later found a home on STAYBLESSED!.
  • Lunch Break was the first time someone came to my house to record a song.
  • The Rain was originally made for Fresh Loser but later found a home on multiple different project before being put on the deluxe release of UNRAPPABLE BEAUTY.
  • Mercury would've been on The Sophomore EP, but was cut for personal reasons. It later found a home on UNRAPPABLE BEAUTY.
