This project originally began as a continuation of both unreleased works Fresh Loser & The Sophomore Tape, it even used the same cover as another unreleased project known as Lem∞ns.

It wasn't until late February 2024 when the project would turn into something far removed from its predecessors, it would continue to be worked on until release day.

Originally, the album released on a Tuesday, days before its planned release on Friday, due to impatience. It originally released with vocals on RAVEN'S ENTERLUDE, but those vocals weren't properly cleared so the whole thing had to be taken down & replaced with a new mix.

That new mix was somehow worse than the original.

Facts about Each Song

  • SETTING, originally titled TRANSCRIPT, originally had a skit in which I play a lawyer reading off some papers.
  • KEMODO was one of three tracks to be previewed on Instagram alongside an unreleased track & INTERMISSION.
  • JAZZANOVA consists of FOR THE CLUB & WHO AM I?. FOR THE CLUB is named after an unreleased Tyler, The Creator song, & WHO AM I? was named that for no reason whatsoever (I'm being so honest right now).
  • INTERMISSION, originally titled CONVERSATION STARTER, was one of three tracks to be previewed on Instagram alongside an unreleased track & KEMODO.
  • RAVEN'S ENTERLUDE originally had audio of the infamous CBT audio from Wikipedia.
  • WALK was somehow some of people's favorite songs from this project, how fun.
  • WAITING was made in a day, that's all that can be said.
  • FINALE is repurposed from an earlier beat made for Fresh Loser.
  • untitled [bonus] was actually titled MERCURY & would later be combined with 3 other beats to make the final version of MERCURY (80).

Redux / Deluxe Edition

Deluxe edition produced between July 29th & August 28th, 2024.
Released on August 28th, 2024.

For the redux, the only thing needed was to update the mixing. That's why it only took an hour to get the project out into the world, it was that simple.

For the deluxe edition, however, that one had its own issues. I had originally wanted to record for that version but I pretty much pushed it all back, that's probably one of the biggest regrets I have with this update.

The majority of it was made in a week while I was moving from one house to another & I was placed at my grandparents with my PC & no internet connections. I was cut off from the rest of the world.

  • WEEDMILK is named after a friend at the time, Marci. I now regret naming it after someone like her.
  • REINTRODUCTION is one of the first beats made for this project.
  • DEFTASTIC is named after a friend at the time, DefJamV2. I now regret naming it after someone like him.
  • BLISS ONE is one of the earliest beats made for this project.
  • BLISS TWO was originally just BLISS ONE but with jungle drums.
  • THE RAIN originally started as a track made for Fresh Loser & would be moved to other projects until finding a home here.
